With a population of more than 700,000 citizens, it is the 3rd biggest polish city. Its patron saint is St. Faustina, who is famously known for her revelation of Merciful Jesus. Łódź has many tourist attraction. One of them is Piotrkowska Street. It is a 4km long road – the main road of the city – and is classified as monument. Here you can find the Textile Industry Museum which is located in the old White Geyer’s Factory.  Also worth seeing is Israel Poznański’s Palace which was built in 19th century and is known as Łódź’s Louvre. On the premises of Poznański’s factory you can find one of the biggest polish shopping centres, C.H. Manufaktura (Manufacture Shopping Centre). Łódź’s cathedral is the tallest building in the city. Its tower is over 100m tall. It is also one of the biggest churches in Poland. This is only a brief overview of Łódź. Come to MAGIS and discover it by yourself!
