Why are you going to World Youth Day?

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a sabbath day’s journey away.
When they had entered the city, they went to the room upstairs where they were staying, Peter, and John,
and James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot,
and Judas son of James. All these were constantly devoting themselves to prayer, together with certain women,
including Mary the mother of Jesus, as well as his brothers. When the day of Pentecost had come, they were
all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind,
and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue
rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages,
as the Spirit gave them ability. Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven living in Jerusalem.
And at this sound the crowd gathered and was bewildered, because each one heard
them speaking in the native language of each.

Today’s Reading comes from the Acts of the Apostles (1:12-14; 2:1-6)

When a person stands face to face with God it happens that his whole life will be transformed.

Our relationships start to look more like Love, which is He Himself.

Then we become the living Church.

Remind yourself of a time,
when you met God working in the community of the Church.

You are preparing yourself to go to leave for World Youth Day.

There you will meet people from all corners of the earth.

You will hear conversations in almost every language of the world.

This is a good moment to seriously answer the question:

Why are you going to World Youth Day to Krakow?

Talk to Jesus now about what you would like to experience
during WYD and pray for all the remaining pilgrims,
who will go to Krakow.
