The Czech Republic is Poland’s southern neighbour and another country where some Ignatian Experiments will take place during MAGIS 2016.
Karlovy Vary is probably the most famous of the Czech Republic’s spa towns. It also hosts the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, one of the oldest in the world and is a leading film festival in Central and East Europe.
The Czech Republic is a mountainous landlocked country. The highest peak, Sněžka, is located on the border with Poland and gives terrific views over both countries.
Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is considered to be one of the most beautiful capital cities in Europe. It is also known as the city of a hundred towers. In the Czech Republic there are many other beautiful cities, like Brno with its Tugendhat villa and castles, like Krumlov or Karlštejn. Many of them are part of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites list.
The Czech Republic is also known for its food and beers and claims to have the best lager in the world.
Come to MAGIS 2016 and discover this country by yourself!
